Student Life Cinema plays movies up to 6 nights a week free for FSU students with a valid FSUCard. General admission for FSU non-students is only $4. The film schedule is programmed by FSU students, and includes everything from mainstream blockbusters and advance screenings to independent, foreign, and documentary films to cult classics and popular favorites for Friday midnight movies. The SLC often plays movies you can’t see anywhere else in Tallahassee.

The state-of-the-art movie theatre seats 380 and features stadium style seating, 35mm and digital projection, 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, an
18’ x 43’ screen, and movie refreshments at affordable prices. Digital media shown in the theatre can be routed to meeting rooms and Cyber Café TV’s for overflow seating. Prime seating is available for guests in wheelchairs, and infrared headphones are available for the hearing-impaired.
