FSU Women Capture 2009 Gator Collegiate Shootout
The FSU women qualified third and then sweep through match play to capture the 2009 Florida Gator Collegiate Shootout. The event was held November 14th & 15th in Gainesville. The Lady Noles were lead by Corinne Kelley who averaged 199, Nicole Gielski-181, Pauline Harris-179, Kelly Wills-175, Gina Bollotta-191, and Misty West-178.
The FSU men fielded two teams for this event with the Garnet team finishing 5th and the Gold team finishing 6th. Both teams failed to advance to match play. FSU Men’s team averages: Alex Klemp-205, George Seliga-202, Colton Kokrda-200, Juan Mendez-198, Ryan Kokrda-191, Andrew Ackert-188, Jules Bridges-185, Kwentin Eastberg-181, Andy Bookman-169, Seth Kerr-181, and Joel Cohen-158.
Both teams will next be in action at the Sam’s Town Shoot-Out and the Las Vegas Invitational December 19 – 22.
