Spring

Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon at FSU is the university’s largest student-run philanthropy. Each February, over 1000 student volunteers (called “dancers”) will stand for 40 hours, divided into two 20 hour shifts. Money is raised for Children’s Miracle Network at Shands Children’s Hospital and The FSU College of Medicine’s pediatric outreach programs. 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the children of Tallahassee and surrounding areas.

Over the past 18 years, Dance Marathon at FSU has raised over $4.5 million through our annual Dance Marathon event. Without the support of campus organizations and student volunteers, Dance Marathon would not be where it is today. Now in our 16th year, we have the opportunity to grow to new heights. We invite you to become a part of our team as we “Give a Weekend, Save a Life,” and help the kids of our community.

Spring Fling

Spring Fling is an annual event hosted by the Oglesby Union that is held each spring semester. Each year the Oglesby Union is transformed into a “carnival” with many activities to promote enjoying the wonderful springtime weather in Tallahassee. Students are able to take part in games and rides while enjoying carnival fare. The FSU Flying High Circus also host 2 performances of their “Home Show” during the event.
