
The Lost and Found Department is located in the Information Center, on the ground floor of the West Courtyard of the Oglesby Union, A105, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida 32306-4026. Between the hours of 8 AM to 6:00PM Monday thru Friday, Students, Faculty, Staff and Visitors are encouraged to inquire at the Information Center about lost or misplaced articles. Each academic building on campus has its own Lost and Found lost or misplaced items. Pickups are scheduled on a weekly basis throughout the school year and delivered to our center.
Found items are held for 30 days minimum as dictated by Florida Statue. After 30 days, the items become the property of Florida Sate University. Items may then be auctioned or sold with proceeds going to fund scholarships for FSU students. Any remaining items are disposed of by donating to charitable organizations.
Anyone claiming property at the Information Center must show Student ID or a driver's license. For visitors or guests of the university, please call 850-644-3434.
