Click a link for a larger (320 x 240), live picture. Live pictures are available during daylight hours, and at night if the scene is lighted. The timestamp displayed under the picture is the time the picture was taken, not the current time. You can also view pictures that were saved (one per hour) yesterday and earlier today.
IMPORTANT VIEWING INFORMATION
- Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox: Live fullsize pictures will stream via server push on Netscape versions 2, 3, 4, and 7, and on Mozilla (behavior on Netscape 6 is unpredictable and often unpleasant). The Westcott, Union, and Science Quadrangle images will update at up to 15 frames per second and the Leach Center image at up to one frame per second, depending on the connection speed.
- Safari: Will display only a non-streaming, up-to-the-second, fullsize picture.
- Internet Explorer: Due to a Microsoft-imposed limitation, MSIE will display only a non-streaming, up-to-the-second, fullsize picture on Windows systems (press “Refresh” for an update). Images will stream for Macintosh users of MSIE.
- Personal Firewalls: Windows firewall programs such as Norton and ZoneAlarm sometimes block transmission of certain information from the web browser to the camera software. When this happens, the software will not transmit an image. If you do not see an image, you may need to adjust firewall settings.
