The 5K Fun Run/Walk is a hilly 3.1 mile run through the picturesque campus of Florida State University. It will take you down and around newly installed areas called Legacy Walk. The cost is $15.00 which guarantees a t-shirt to first 400 entrants. Registration opens June 1, 2008. Day of the race registration begins at 6:30am and the race begins promptly at 7:30am. The cost of entry is $20.00 which includes a t-shirt and a race towel.

There will be a trophy awarded to the fastest male and female in the Overall Male and Overall Female category. Trophies will also be awarded to the first and second fastest male and female finishers in all age categories listed above. Third place male and female finishers will receive medallions. In addition, first and second fastest Family Pairs (mother/son or daughter, father/son or daughter) will get trophies, and third place, a medallion. Start training, and we’ll see you on October 25.
