Florida State University has over 550 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus. The Student Activities Center is committed to providing programs, services and resources to all students and their organizations. What's New:

The recognition process for 2011-2012 will close February 29th, 2012. All organizations whether returning or new must be complete by this date in order to remain active. Please check this website for upcoming information regarding the 2012-2013 recognition process.

  1. Complete a Get Recognized! Workshop and Quiz online here: https://union.fsu.edu/getrecognized
  2. After scoring 80% or better on the quiz, create your organization’s profile and information at http://studentgroups.fsu.edu by logging in with your FSU ID, clicking the Organizations tab, and clicking the Register a New Organization button.
  3. Download, print, and sign the Recognition Application received at the end of the registration form and return it to the Student Activities Center.
  4. After ALL steps have been completed, your application will be reviewed, and the Student Activities Center will contact you regarding your status.
