Get Recognized! Workshops

Attention all student organizations: Whether you are a returning RSO or wanting to start a new organization, you must attend a Get Recognized! Workshop. It is recommended that the president of the organization attend the workshop or another executive board member if the president cannot attend. The workshop will cover what it means to be a recognized student organization, benefits and services from the Student Activities Center, and features of the new online organization system.

You are only required to attend ONE workshop. Please fill out the registration form here to sign up for a date. You will receive confirmation of your workshop date within a few days of completing the form. If you need to change the date you requested or have any questions, you can contact Selby Lo at slo@admin.fsu.edu.

Current RSOs must complete the re-recognition process by September 30th in order to maintain their status and privileges. Please keep this in mind when registering for a workshop date. New organizations may be created at any time.

Fall 2009 Get Recognized! Workshops

After attending a workshop, you can initiate the online process and turn in all necessary forms to the Student Activities Center (SAC) in A305 of the Oglesby Union to complete the recognition process.
