Florida State University has over 650 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus. Student Activities is committed to the holistic development of student leaders by providing services, resources, events, and programs that allow our students to deeply engage with each other, their organizations, and the overall campus community.
In addition, our office acknowledges that our RSOs would cease exist without the role of an advisor. We know that advising an organization can be quite overwhelming at times as students may challenge you with a particular idea they have or may come to you about a personal issue that may be going on in or outside the organization. Our hope is that our new Student Organization Advisors section can be your one-stop-shop for everything you need to be successful as an advisor whether that’s understanding specific policies that govern RSOs or facilitating difficult conversations with your student leaders!
