Taste of Tallahassee

14th Annual Taste of Tallahassee

Each fall, Florida State University, Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College welcome students to Tallahassee with Experience Tallahassee Festival. An annual event with vendors, community organizations, and entertainment attracts more than 3,500 students. Part of Experience Tallahassee Festival is the Taste of Tallahassee event, an opportunity for the Tallahassee community to sample food from local vendors.

Participation

As a participant, your establishment must provide and distribute at least 400 servings of free food samples to students as they visit your table. One sample should be equivalent to 2-3 bites of food. You are permitted to have food for sale as well, but this must be in addition to having the free samples available. We estimate at least 3,000 to 3,500 students will attend Taste of Tallahassee. We will provide all marketing and advertising for the event. Feel free to be creative and innovative as you market your establishment with coupons, menus or flyers to these new students. Don't forget to bring plates, utensils and other items needed for serving.

By participating, we will be able to provide you with two 6-foot long tables. Please note that electricity is not available and we are unable to provide kitchen space or extension cords.
