What is Club Downunder/Union Productions?

Club Downunder/Union Productions (CDU/UP) is Florida State University's (FSU) student-run programming board! It is one of the most respected programs in the nation hosting concerts, comedians, special events, and more on campus in Tallahassee. Over fifty students oversee every aspect of the organization: from planning and producing events and marketing and promotions, to sound production and hospitality. This means that everything that goes into making Union Productions’ events fantastic—from booking performers, to setting up dressing rooms, to coordinating audio-visual requests, to advertising lineups—is all orchestrated by a dedicated group of FSU undergraduates.

Where is Club Downunder?

CDU is located on the FSU Tallahassee campus at 75 N. Woodward Ave., in the Student Union, lower level.

Mission Statement

CDU provides captivating, inclusive, and enriching entertainment for FSU. To foster student leadership and professional development, we empower students to cultivate their own events, ranging from concerts, comedy shows and lectures to special events, all of which are student-run from inception to completion.

Weekly Programming Meetings

Everyone is welcome to come discuss potential events and co-sponsorships at the weekly programming meetings. For more information about the meetings, please email upprogramming@admin.fsu.edu.

Annual Volunteer All-Call

At the beginning of every fall semester, CDU sponsors an annual volunteer recruitment event! Volunteering with Union Productions is a great way to get involved with our unique organization and FSU's campus. Positions in programming (event planning), hospitality, public relations, sound production, and event staffing provides students with hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.

Dates and times for the Volunteer All-Call event will be announced in the beginning of the fall semester. If you’d like to find out more about volunteering with Union Productions, email upoperations@admin.fsu.edu.
