Get Involved

Student Groups

Florida State University has over 650 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus. Find out how you can get involved with a student organization at

Soar Board

The Student Organization Advisory and Review (SOAR) Board is an entity of the Student Activities Center and serves as a liaison to FSU’s Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs).

SOAR Board works to help RSOs grow by providing workshops, individual consultations, online resources, and many events such as Market Wednesday, the RSO Presidents’ Mixer, and Leadership Awards Night. We’re here to help organizations create their FSU experience.

Peer Involvement Mentors

Being on a big campus can be extremely intimidating, especially if you don’t know what is available to you and how to get involved. Come meet with the Peer Involvement Mentors and we can set you up with a counselor to talk about your interests and start getting you involved. Whether you’re interested in the honor societies, student government, clubs, or whatever you can think of, we will help you find the perfect opportunity on campus. Come see us on the third floor of the Oglesby Union: Room A303D and make your mark here at FSU!
