Lost and Found

During the New FSU Student Union Project, Florida State University's Lost and Found is located at the Information Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Student Services Building. Students, faculty, staff, and visitors are encouraged to inquire at the Information Desk about lost or misplaced articles. You may also call 850-644-3434 or email infolostfound@admin.fsu.edu.

Each academic building on campus has its own Lost and Found for misplaced items. Pickups are scheduled on a weekly basis throughout the school year and delivered to our center.

Found items are held for 30 days minimum as dictated by Florida Statute. After 30 days, the items become the property of Florida State University. Items may then be auctioned or sold with proceeds going to fund scholarships for FSU students. Any remaining items are disposed of by donating to the charitable organizations listed at the bottom of this page.

To Report Lost Items or View Items:

Anyone claiming property at the Information Center must show Student ID or a driver’s license. For visitors or guests of the university, please call 850-644-3434 for inquiries.
