Lost & Found

Each academic building on campus has its own Lost and Found for misplaced items. Pickups are scheduled on a weekly basis throughout the school year and delivered to the Student Services building, 2nd floor, information desk.

Found items are held for 30 days minimum as dictated by Florida Statute. After 30 days, the items become the property of Florida State University. Items may then be auctioned or sold with proceeds going to fund scholarships for FSU students. Any remaining items are disposed of by donating to the charitable organizations listed at the bottom of this page.

Report or Claim Lost Items

An FSU Student ID or a driver’s license must be shown at the information desk to claim lost property. 

Lost items can be reported below and if we have an item that could be a match, we will notify you as soon as possible. Please provide a thorough description.
