Each academic building on campus has its own lost and found for misplaced items. The student union picks up from the following locations: Leach, Strozier, Dirac, and the ASLC. Locations not listed for pick up are responsible for their own lost and found, although they may directly drop off items to the welcome desk on the 1st floor of the student union, which is the main location for lost and found items.
Found items are held for 30 days minimum as dictated by Florida Statute. After 30 days, the items become the property of Florida State University. Items may then be auctioned or sold with proceeds going to fund scholarships for FSU students. Any remaining items are disposed of by donating to the charitable organizations listed at the bottom of this page.
